How lucky have we been with summer this year? Fantastic events, great weather and scrumptious foods. It’s been one to remember.
Things have been equally as exciting for East Coast Gelato this year as they won the award for best local producer for 2017 in the Muddy Stilettos Norfolk awards and came a close second (by 1%) for their Bakewell Tart Gelato in the Junior Chef Category at London gelato festival 2017. Congratulations are in order there!
The owners have been in the ice cream business for over 35 years. Now they have decided to push the boat out and make the finest quality Gelato and lollies around. Their aim is to tantalise your tastebuds by offering a variety of delicious Gelato flavours, and would love you to come and try them all! Only local fresh produce is used where possible and they make over 50 gelato and sorbet flavours.
With such an array of flavours, there is something for everyone. Just to tickle your taste-buds, the gelato and sorbet flavours include; Strawberry Sorbet, Raspberry Bakewell, Banana, Banoffee pie, Mango Sorbet, Vegan Chocolate and Carrot Cake. The best seller though, is the salted caramel gelato lollies dipped in milk chocolate, drizzled in white chocolate and topped with fudge pieces. Would you like some award-winning gelato yet?
Situated in Hunstanton along the promenade, are three kiosks stocking all their products. If you can’t make it to the promenade, their products can be found in many pubs and eateries around the coast including the Duck Inn at Stanhoe, Eric’s Fish & Chips at Thornham and 20 North Street in Burnham Market.
A huge congratulation to the team at East Coast Gelato, you have had a tremendous year and we wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!
